This term is horrible. Its just my 2nd week in term 4 and i feel like i'm doing my final projects everyday!
This that I needa do...
- Do research bout Ancient Egypt. ( costume ) ( Due Wednesday )
- Watch Cleopatra movie as part of research ( Due Wednesday )
- Prepare presentation about Pierre Balmain ( Due Wednesday )
- Do my draping assignment ( dress ) ( Due Thursday )
- Sew the first step for my semi tailored jacket project ( Due Friday )
- Come out with 5 corset designs ( Due Thursday )
- Fine pictures from internet or magazine about line,colour , pattern etc ( Due Monday )
- Come out with designs for a competition since its compulsory for my class cause we're already seniors ( Due end of this month )
I am seriously very very tired most of the time i only get like 5 hours of sleep a day and im having eye bags!!! From young till now i never had eye bag aka panda eyes before but now its here! Looks like i have to get those facial cream for eye bags now......
Last night I was finishing up my sewing assignment and yes its the hand stitching assignment and it took up a lot of my time i have been stitching since monday and i finally finish it at 11pm last night BUT even though thats done I still have to cut out pattern pieces from my drafting paper and cut it on fabric 3 different type of fabric. For
those who dont know what pattern pieces are here what it is.
Pattern piece are piece or block that people draw to get the parts for clothes like collar pocket side seams back panel etc... If still dont know go see your clothes
So yea I have to cut lining, self ( actual fabric ) and jacket interfacing.
Thank God my mom came in and offer to help. My mom
help me to cut the fabric while i arrange all the pattern and my sister help me to unpin those stuff. And thanks to them I get to finish all of it by 1
am... I feel very happy/lucky/touched that my mom is willing to help me and stay up until 1am to help me finish it. Thanks to her I dont have to stay up any later than that. If my calculation are correct if she didnt help me I will have to sleep at around 3am-4am? And then wake up 3 hours later. Since some of my friends stay up till 4am to finish cutting the fabric.
Lots of my friends came to school with eye bags and most of then are already sick due to lack of sleep. I just hope that I wont fall sick cause I wanna keep my perfect attendance record.
On wednesday since we finish class early so Fyoon, J, and I decided to have lunch at a fancy restaurant call Tatto. Its a Italian restaurant. Why its fancy? Cause its fine dinning. This is my 2nd time having fine dining the 1st time I had was with my family in Pavilion. While this is the 1st time I having with my friends haha . All the dishes there are very very pretty especially the dessert its soooooooooo nice.
